1984
Take-over of the laboratory Dr. Flaßhoff in Bad Kissingen by Dr. Rüdiger Leimbeck and continuation as “Labor Dr. Leimbeck“
(19 employees).

1987
Dr. Rüdiger Leimbeck offers the partnership to his former fellow student friend, Prof. Dr. Bernd Sonnenschein. Until then Prof. Dr. Sonnenschein was CEO of a medium-sized pharmaceutical company.
Foundation of Labor L+S GmbH and new construction of a laboratory building in Bad Bocklet/Großenbrach (28 employees).
L+S stands for the initials of the company founders.

1991
First extension
(41 employees).

1993
Accreditation in accordance with DIN EN 45001.

1994
Second extension
(66 employees).

1995
Reorganization into a small limited company (AG).

1998
As first laboratory certified by the State Business Establishment in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 (environmental management)
(115 employees, among them 17 graduates).

2006
Additional extension as well as a new laboratory building for chemical, physicochemical and biological tests.

2009
Beginning of a third extension with additional 1.200 m² laboratory and office space
(230 employees).
